Beyonce‘s producer Jeff Bhasker has some harsh words for Kelly Rowland‘s lead single “Motivation”. Ok, so Jeff is not exclusively Beyonce’s producer, he’s also worked with Jay-Z, Kanye West and Alicia Keys. However, since Kelly Rowland and Beyonce share a closer relationship then any of the aforementioned, Jeff is Beyonce’s producer. Moving on….
So just days, 5 days to be exact, before Kelly Rowland releases “Here I Am” Jeff decides to blast her lead single “Motivation” on Twitter.
“How can this kr song with the weakest beat and melody of all time be the #1 song on urban!? Oh yeah. [Lil] Wayne.”
Jeff being the reasonable guy that he is…came back and posted:
“I just listened to Motivation again to see if I was to harsh in my critique. I wasn’t. The lyrics are horrid as well.”
Kelly Rowland and Lil Wayne’s fans didn’t take a liking to Jeff’s criticism but it only fueled him when he retorted,
“Come on twitter you know you live for the negative tweets”
Which makes you wonder if there’s a deeper plot here? Drama of any kind usually fuels interest in the victim, in this case Kelly Rowland. What do you think of Beyonce’s producer’s criticism of Kelly – is it well planned or just harsh criticism?
