More details continue to surface on Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony‘s divorce and the potential reasons for their split. JLo and Marc were married for seven years in what seemed to be a happy union with a few glitches – as is expected in any marriage. The couple has two children, twins Emme and Max and a few joint business ventures.
On Saturday, Jennifer’s stylist Phillip Bloch has revealed to the Daily some new details on the split,
“She fought to make it work for the sake of the children. She desperately did not want a third divorce.”
He continued, “This is not a surprise. Marc is very controlling. In the beginning she liked that because he stood up to her, and in the early days he was very much in love with her and she was with him.”

In their joint released statement, the couple stated they reached “an amicable conclusion on all matters.”
