Mega pop star Rihanna became the new Armani IT girl when she replaced actress Megan Fox as the brand’s spokesperson. Megan ironically just shot the promo for Armani’s “The Face of Beauty” Summer 2011 campaign. Rihanna will take over as the face of Emporio Armani Underwear and Armani Jeans.
The 23 year old songstress just finished shooting the autumn/winter ads in New York City just prior to the campaign’s September worldwide launch.
Despite receiving criticism over her scantily clad videos and magazine covers, Rihanna has no intentions on losing the curves that enhances her sex appeal.
In a recent Vogue Magazine article Rihanna shared,
”I realized that I actually like my body, I just feel sexy. For the first time, I don’t want to get rid of the curves. My body is comfortable, and it’s not unhealthy, so I’m going to rock with it.”
And rock it she will. Rihanna will join the ranks of other Armani spokespeople like Megan Fox and Victoria and David Beckham. Rihanna’s ad campaign will debut in September.
