Mariah Carey’s name has been thrown around a few times surrounding the final cast for the US X Factor. But the diva’s name appeared to be off the table while she was busy awaiting the birth of her twins. Mariah has since given birth to her twins, Simon Cowell‘s US X Factor appears to have it’s judges, yet Mariah Carey’s names is back on the table.
According to EW Mariah may serve as mentor to the contestants in addition,
“Mariah and Simon are great friends, and now [that] she has had her babies, it’s very possible that she will be involved [in] some way in the later stages of the show. She has always said she wanted to work with the show, so it’s something they will certainly be discussing ideas for soon.”
Simon hasn’t hid his desires to sign Mariah,
I met her recently and she was on great form. And her idea was to be the judge of the judges, which only Mariah could come up with.”
“She’ll be involved in some form. I literally adore her. I love her to bits.”
Mariah Carey a mentor? Sounds like Simon Cowell may be hatching a plan to put Nicole Scherzinger on the back burner and bring Mariah Carey front and center…just a thought..
