Record producer Stevie J. and 90’s R&B singer Faith Evans premiered a snippet of their spicy video “A Minute” and the clip has the Internet buzzing.
The two former “Bad Boys Entertainment” artists collaborated on a new music single that’s planning to drop on July 27. Both artists took to social media and shared a small segment of their intimate music video.Ā Evans wrote, “Here’s something to HEAT up the SUMMER! š„š„ Come #BehindTheScenes with Big Fizzy & The Good Guy.”
In their music video, Stevie J. and Evans are lying in bed with minimum clothing. The “Soon As I Get Home” singer is wearing a Black chemise and the “Hitman” has nothing on except his red boxers. One of the scenes shows Evans’ arms wrapped around Stevie J. as he rubs down her back.
The spicy clip had fans chattering and asking the status of the duo’s relationship.
“Are you and Stevie back together,” one Instagram follower asked.
“Sooooo are yall in a relationship or is yall together again lol I love yall together,” another person said.
“Esta who? Lol”
“I know biggie turning and his grave.”
” IĀ think they would make a beautiful couple..If Stevei was a lil more mature,” one fan wrote.
Stevie and Evans have been best friends for 25 years according to the “good guy.” He said they were more like “family” andĀ then “as years progressed, we just began to hang out more [and] talk more,” he said during a “Breakfast Club” interview.
The two rekindled their relationship in 2016 when they toured together for the “Bad Boy Reunion Tour” and began dating. Both artists shared photos on their social media cuddled up.
However, in 2017 the couple part ways and Evans gave the deets as to why it didn’t work out.
“It was weird for me but he said ‘he loved me’ and said ‘I been there for him.’ He said everything that was true, but it did not mean we should be together… I know many reasons we shouldn’t be together. He even convinced my friends that we should be together,” the singer said in an interview on Angela Yee’s ‘Lip Service’.
Evans said she’ll always have love for Stevie “even though he is not ready for me.”
Stevie on the other hands has always made his feelings known for Evans. He wrote on his Instagram, “20 years plus & God willing 20 years more” on a picture standing beside her.
