Wendy Williams chewed Chris Brown up on her morning talk show after the R&B star claimed Jay Z was one of the few black artists who gets a pass from “white America” despite Jay Z’s less than perfect past.
Wendy has always been the host who tells it like it is and when Chris Brown was the topic of discussion, things were no different.
While some people shy away from dissing Breezy because they’d rather not deal with his psychotic fans or Twitter wars, Wendy took some major shots at Chris and his girlfriend Karrueche Tran before daring him and Team Breezy to even try to get her involved in a social media spat.
It all started when Chris Brown sat down with Jet Magazine and claimed racism is to blame for his poor portrayal in the media.
“This is something I’ve been dealing with for the past maybe five years,” he said. “Anybody with a voice – Tupac, Michael Jackson, the Notorious B.I.G. – gets formatted.”
He then went on to say that rap star Jay Z seems to be the exception to the rule because he is busy kissing up to “white America.”
“Except maybe Jay Z, who is accepted by white America because he shakes hands and kisses babies,” he added. “No disrespect, because I’m a fan, but nobody brings up the fact that he stabbed somebody and sold drugs. He gets a pass.”
Apparently that was enough to set Wendy off the deep end.
The outspoken talk show host took the time on her show to remind Brown that Jay Z wasn’t nearly as famous as he is now when he stabbed music producer “Un,” and he certainly wasn’t even remotely famous when he was involved with dealing drugs.
She said Chris needed to remember that his rocky relationship with the media was demolished after he went on rage-filled rampages and even threw a chair inside at the window during an interview with “Good Morning America.”
“You are less than smart for trying to blame Jay Z,” Wendy said right before she started to really let Chris have it. “You need to blame yourself, young man. You’re a woman beater, you’re disrespectful, you threw a chair out of the window of ‘Good Morning America’… whatever happened to that cute young man that used to dance for Doublemint gum?”
She also said that she knows young men have to grow up but instead, Chris became a disrespectful “junkie.”
“A boy grows into a man, but you look like a junkie,” she said. “You’ve got those nasty tattoos, you’re way too skinny. You don’t seem to have respect for much at all. You beat the stew out of Rihanna and you’re with that Koochie Crayon right now.”
As if that wasn’t enough, Wendy even explained that while Jay Z is very conscious of his image, it helps that he is married to a woman who is respected by many people, as opposed to a Rihanna or Karrueche. Singer Rihanna is widely known to be a party animal, while model Karrueche is generally viewed as a gold digger who is using Chris to climb to fame and fortune. Ouch.
“Why don’t you go out with a nice girl named Mallory or something,” Wendy asked toward the end of her own rant.
Perhaps the best moment of the live diss was when Wendy shut down Brown’s Twitter war before he even had a chance to get it started.
The young singer is known for coming at his critics via Twitter, but Wendy already let him know that if wanted to start something with her, she wouldn’t concern herself with making the time to respond.
“And please don’t Twitter war me because I don’t bark back,” she said. “So please save your Twitter war rant, young man.”
