Kanye West Lawyer Tries to Stop Sex Tapes

This Kanye West sex tape business is getting confusing.

While TMZ is reporting that there are currently TWO Kanye sex tapes being shopped around the Southern California sex industry, seeking the highest bidder for a distribution deal, the Huffington Post is saying that sites like AllHipHop.com have received a “cease and desist” letter from West’s lawyer, Lisa M. Buckley, telling them to stop using screen shots obtained from the video.

“Be advised that the Screen Shot, as well as the Tape from which the Screen Shot was taken, were illegally obtained and believed to have been stolen from Mr. West’s computer. Your posting, advertising, marketing, displaying and otherwise disseminating the Screen Shot and/or other materials on the Tape constitute actionable violations of Mr. West’s rights of privacy and publicity.”

But then again, perhaps the lawyer is jut making sure that the video (or videos) can secure the best deal. If random websites out there are possibly showing images, that might lower the value. As for the value, according to the Huffington Post, we’re walking some real money here. Sex.com has reportedly offered $1 million for the sex tape, while Vivid Video’s Steve Hirsch estimates that it could be worth “a couple million dollars.” Remember, after all the braying and complaining, Kanye’s girlfriend Kim Kardashian got $5 million for her sex tape with Ray J.

According to TMZ, both Kanye tapes are “impressively” long.

“The first is roughly twenty minutes … and the second is more than FORTY. And we’re talking constant action. Seriously, the guy takes no breaks. It’s incredible. Almost Sting-like,” TMZ writes.

Both of them are with West ex-girlfriends, though they have not been identified. According to TMZ, West has no idea how the videos were stolen from his computer, but he plans to send a team of angry lawyers after the culprit.
