Rihanna Twitter – In an amazing testament to both the power of Twitter and the enormous appeal of Rihanna, the singer found herself in a tight situation on Saturday when she posted a picture on Twitter of the train she was about to take from London to Paris—and found herself mobbed by fans when the train arrived in Paris.
The singer’s alarm was evident in the tone of the tweets she sent out after it all transpired—with each tweet full of Rihanna’s infamous potty mouth.
“The French are f**kin insane!!!” was her first tweet indicating that something was wrong.
Then she said, “FYI, if u push me, you WILL get pushed the phuck back! Papz and crazies included!!!!”
Lastly, she said, “I just had to fight my way out of a damn train station!!! SMH”
It all started when Rihanna posted a picture of the train she was about to take from London’s St Pancras station, with the caption, “Last train in dis muhphucka.”
The Instagram photo showed the sign for her train, arriving in Paris’ Gare du Nord station at 19:01. So when she got to the Nord station, the singer was shocked by the realization that having 25.1 million Twitter followers (and counting) means that there are likely going to be plenty of Rihanna fans within a stone’s throw of the Nord train station.
Both the security team at the Eurostar station and her own bodyguards struggled to protect Rihanna from the crush of people around her.
Ironically, the photo she tweeted right before the train station shot was a picture of a member of her security detail, posed with fans, with the caption, “I’m so famous my security needs security.”
The Bajan singer ended the episode with the following, “Y’all are outta control with this shit in Paris!!!”
Fame does have its downside.
