Just as we promised the trailer to Quentin Tarantino’s Django is finally here. The trailer is full of throwback music and catchy one-liners with a trademark Tarantino flare. It’s all seriousness from the comedian Jamie Foxx as he plays the ex-slave hell bent on finding his wife and killing anyone who gets in his way.
“Django Unchained” tells the story of the title slave, Django, who teams up with a bounty hunter (Christoph Waltz) to track down a pair of nefarious brothers and free Django’s wife in the process. The task will prove difficult, as she’s been captured by the vicious slave master Calvin Candie (Leonardo DiCaprio) who runs the plantation “Candie Land” with extreme prejudice.
Also starring Don Johnson, Franco Nero, Walton Goggins, Bruce Dern and Rza.
Django hits theaters December 25th, Christmas day.
