Lawrence Fishburne spoke with the ladies of ‘The View’ about his latest project, Have A Little Faith, set to air on ABC. The Matrix star also talked about whether or not we will be seeing anything new from the Matrix franchise.
Fishburne confirmed he was not sure if he could pull off his new role as reformed preacher, Pastor Henry Covington, who was a real life man who transformed many lives during his time as a preacher. Many of these people sat right in the congregation that Fishburne’s character had to preach to in the movie.
Have A Little Faith is an adaption of Mitch Albom’s book of the same name where the less-than-religious sportswriter goes between the worlds of his childhood rabbi and a reformed drug dealing convict-turned-pastor to observe and learn how their faiths are applied in different ways.
Mitch Albom’s Have A Little Faith premieres on Sunday, November 27 at 9 p.m. on ABC. Bradley Whitford and Martin Landau star alongside Fishburne in the film.
