Samuel L Jackson is Nick Fury in the latest Marvel movie The Avengers. Nick Fury, one of the few african american comic book character that has overcome and hit the big screen. Its also rumored that the Nick Fury movie will be in development soon. After all of that, Jackson agreed to act as a “snitching” slave in Tarantino’s ‘Django Unchained‘. ‘Django Unchained’ is about a freed slave who learned how to bounty hunt by a German bounty hunter and uses those skills to kill the evil plantation Owner Calvin Candie played by Leonardo DiCaprio who kidnapped his wife. When we heard that Jackson will be playing that role, I just chuckled to myself, and I thought about Tarantino’s rich dialogue and Jacksons’s antics in Pulp Fiction and Snakes on a plane. His character could possibly steal the show. Not to mention his relationship dynamic between Jamie Foxx character(Django). I don’t imagine this script will be a comedy considering the subject matter but keep in mind Tarantino films, he always manages to slip in a bunch of fun moments in his movies. Also starring Kerry Washington and Kevin Costner.
