Madonna Threatens Smoking Fans at Concert Despite Daughter's Own Habit

Madonna threatened to cancel her concert Wednesday when she spotted fans near the stage smoking.

The pop diva was getting prepared for her concert in Chile when some of her fans decided to puff on a cigarettes, which immediately sent Madonna into a frenzy.

“There are people smoking right now,” the 54-year-old yelled into the mic as she stood on the stage. “No smoking!”

She wasn’t in one of her usual glamorous get ups during the warm up due to the rainy weather, but that certainly didn’t stop her from being her usual demanding self.

“If you’re going to smoke cigarettes, I’m not doing a show,” she continued as she walked over towards the smokers. “You don’t care about me? I don’t care about you. All right?”

The “Girl Gone Wild” songstress waiting a few seconds for a reaction, but the fans weren’t ready to put out their cigs just yet.

“Are we going to play that game? I’m not kidding. I can’t sing if you smoke,” She added. “Entiendes?”

Even her threats to end the show dead in its tracks didn’t encourage the smokers to quit right away, but when the singer’s language to a little more vulgar it was easy to see she meant business.

“You’re looking right at me and smoking cigarettes, like I’m a stupid fu**ing idiot,” she said into the mic before the fans finally put out their cigarettes.

It seems a bit strange to see the “4 minutes” singer getting her panties in a bunch over the smokers when her daughter was caught puffing on her own cig earlier this year.

Back in March, Madge’s 15-year-old daughter Lourdes was proudly smoking a cigarette in NYC when the paparazzi caught her.

Then again, there isn’t any evidence to suggest that Madonna knew about her daughter’s bad habit.

Either way, she has definitely taken a stance against the smokers during the warm up but it will be interesting to see what she does at the real concert when fans are sure to be taking a few puffs during her show.
