Chris Brown unknowingly found himself in the mix of 90’s R&B star Brian McKnight’s attempt to explain his downward spiral.
More than a few eye brows were raised two weeks ago when Brian released “If You’re Ready To Learn.” The song about a woman’s vagina was so vulgar that mega porn site YouPorn featured it on their site and iTunes – raking in dollars for Brian. Naturally a follow-up wasn’t far behind – pun intended. Brian proceeded to pen another song, this about the anus. Oh boy did the roar of his former fans grow louder!!
“Since everyone’s so opinionated I’m taking suggestions on what I should do next I’m thinking rent a lambo and beat the s**t outta my girl… That’s acceptable these days…” tweeted an obviously frustrated Brian. “Or maybe have sex with a 14 year old girl and film it that’s acceptable these days. Or let the court system let me make 35 million before I do my 87 days in a private cell for domestic abuse that’s acceptable these days.”
If you’re counting there were references to three different entertainers. Chris Brown (Rihanna incident), R. Kelly and Floyd Mayweather. Mayweather was too busy checking into prison to respond, no word from R.Kelly, but Chris wasn’t taking the hits laying down. He tweeted,
“”I see how this works now. When peoples careers get to the ‘nobody cares’ stage they use my name for publicity! Lol. I can’t keep helping these old n**gas. It’s a miracle the way I’m bringing the dead alive! I would’ve gladly wrote you something that would make u look less irrelevant!. Listening to “let me show u how ur P works”!!!! THAT S— IS TRASH! If u need help just ask!”
There’s an unnecessary young, immature bravado in Chris’ tone because if the cycle of life has taught us anything, it’s everyone has their time.
Nonetheless, Brian should have found a better way to explain his own choices..
“I meant no disrepect to anyone I was merely pointing out that in today’s society anything goes and WE Are all to blame (in) the end.”
