Kanye West is anticipating his sophomoric return to Paris Fashion Week where he will unleash the heralding of his women’s wear collection, according to his Karla Otto agency spokesman.
The news comes just as the premiere for West’s and Jay-Z’s controversial hit and Watch The Throne’s most recounted release ‘N***** In Paris’ video makes it way to the airwaves.
While rap fans savor the seizure inducing video, others are interested in West’s second attempt at setting the fashion world on fire. His previous DW collection, named after his late mother Dr. Donda West, drew harsh criticism though he had designer juggernauts as Alexander Wang, Vogue’s Anna Wintour, and the Olsen twins backed his vision.
In addition to Paris Fashion Week in March, there are rumors West may launch a line with TopShop. The speculation began after ‘Ye met with Topshop head, Phillip Green for a very long lunch.
As quickly as the rumors developed they were just as quickly squashed by Green ,
“I had lunch with him and, sorry, do I have to report who I have lunch with in the Daily Mirror? He was very hungry. So was I. That’s what happens at lunchtime. There was no conversation going on. He’s a friend of my son.”
While that line may not be on the horizon anytime soon, West’s proven rapping talents is set to provide us with new music and that the new sound is almost near completion.
“We’re gonna do the G.O.O.D. Music album first, we been working on that. So me, Kanye, Cudi, CyHi, John Legend, Common, Pusha T, everybody on G.O.O.D., Mr Hudson we’re all working on a new project, it’s almost done,” said Big Sean, a GOOD member.
Until then, West will show his ready-to-wear pieces on March 6th at 9:30 P.M. at an unknown location in Paris.
