UPDATE-Was Amber Rose forced to apologize to Kim Kardashian? On the heels of releasing her first single ‘Fame’ Amber back down from her “mean” comments about Kim Kardashian and her ex Kanye West .
Amber, 28, is working hard to make the best of her 15 minutes by soaking up every opportunity she can. And she’s leaving no area untouched.
In her most recent venture, Rose tries her hand at singing. Her first release also features a verse from her rapper boyfriend, possible husband, Wiz Khalifa.
“The song represents the ups and downs of fame and lets people know that it’s not all it’s cracked up to be,” Amber tells RapFix.
Could Amber be speaking in codes of a recent fame fiasco?
Last week Rose called Kim Kardashian a homewrecker for having an ongoing affair with Kanye during their relationship and while Kim was still with Reggie Bush. After the Star magazine interview made headlines, neither Kim K nor Kanye addressed the affair. Amber made an elusive Twitter post (and hash tagged FAME) about looming questions of the affair.
“I know there has been a lot of rumors circulating the internet today. After being asked the same questions over and over in every interview for so long i had to be honest and get this off my chest … I don’t lie, i don’t embellish I’m not trying to hurt anyone just setting the record straight. #FAME is a Crazy thing But I’m so thankful…”
Fast forward a few days and Amber softens her blow and apologizes to Kim via Twitter.
“Kim never contacted me after what I said. It was something I had to get off my chest so people knew the truth,” Amber said. “I wasn’t trying to hurt anyone’s feelings. The truth will set you free. At the end of the day, I want to apologize to Kim for calling her a homewrecker.
“I’m all about women and empowerment and even though she made a mistake in life, I shouldn’t stoop down to her level and call her names. I’m human and I reacted on my emotions. I never want to call a women a homewrecker or a bitch or a whore.”
While out in Los Angeles on Sunday night Amber told TMZ said she forgives Kim and Kanye,
“I actually feel bad that I called [Kim] a homewrecker … ’cause that was kind of mean. I forgive her … and I forgive Kanye too … it’s not a big deal, you know?”
In the span of seven days Amber made serious cheating allegations that she just had to get off her chest, refused to back down from the allegations, then apologized for said rant and managed to squeeze in her first single, aptly titled ‘Fame’.
Does Amber really think she’s fooling anyone with this method? Kanye and Kim Kardashian likely didn’t respond so as not to feed into her cheap attempt to garner a buzz around her single.
