Snoop Dogg is best known for rapping, acting, and partaking in a green herbal therapy.
Beyond these pursuits, the West Coast legend also owns a strip club, a cannabis brand, and the Still G.I.N. liquor line he co-created with Dr. Dre.
Now he’s eyeing another business venture, and he’s putting up $30,000 to make it happen.

In 2023, Snoop launched Dr. Bombay, his ice cream brand. It recently opened a Venice Beach storefront.
Now, the “Young, Wild and Free” rapper is offering big money to find new flavors.
The brand already has seven ice cream flavors, most of which are uniquely made with distinctive ingredients. Thus far, Peanut Butter Jelly Time, Baked Blueberry Muffin, and Sticky Caramel Apple are top picks.
On Aug. 27, Snoop’s team posted an ad seeking a traveling ice cream taster; he’ll pay $10,000 a month just to try ice cream.
For those wondering, the job is in fact real. His team posted it on LinkedIn last month seeking “Snoop Dogg’s International Ice Cream Taster.”
However, the role is only a three-month gig but comes with a fun mission.
According to the job posting, the taster will “explore the world’s best frozen desserts and viral flavor trends. You’ll find out what people are obsessed with, what’s about to blow up, and what deserves a spot as the next Dr. Bombay scoop.”
In addition to exploring ice cream flavors from around the world, this ice cream taster will also create social media content “from your adventures.”
The post encourages “creators, foodies, marketers, students, entrepreneurs, journalists, chefs, and peeps with unconventional backgrounds” to apply.
Like most jobs, this role has requirements for applicants. They must speak English, have a passport, and be available for the next three months.
Dogg also made a video about the opportunity, which was shared on his social media account. In the clip, he announces the job before tapping his father, Vernell Varnado, to share some family background related to the brand.
“Howdy folks,” Varnado said. “See, 50 years ago we had a dairy farm in Mississippi. Today we are going global, baby. And we need you to help us find new flavors.”
Snoop fans shared their excitement in the comments section. Some described the position as the perfect side hustle to reach your dreams.
One person wrote, “Oh for shizzle…this dope af, gonna need to hire a smooth operator…ill wait for the phone to bring bring.”
Many asked, “Is he serious?” writing, “A job to eat & review ice cream? Where has this been all my life?”
However, some have recently discovered Snoop’s brand.
“Wait DR BOMBAY IS HIM??? Dude genuinely, he should’ve just called it Snoop Ice Cream or something, cause I would’ve been buying this way more had I known he owned the company,” wrote one person.
When Snoop first launched the company in 2023, he opened up about his interest in ice cream.
In a press release, he said, “Ice cream is more than just a snack to me; it’s a way to chill, relax, and get happy. That’s exactly what I want Dr. Bombay Ice Cream to do—bring a smile to your face and ease your mind.”
Back in April, Snoop welcomed rapper Lil Baby as an investor in Dr. Bombay. His son Cordell Broadus is a creative director in the dessert brand. Foodies can find Dr. Bombay at Walmart and 7-Eleven.
