Stepsisters Riley Burruss and Kaela Tucker joined forces in the city of New York to help promote their parents Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker’s Broadway play “The Piano Lesson,” written by August Wilson.
The two roamed the grounds of Washington Square park and stopped random strangers and prompted them to answer questions surrounding the play’s premise: a brother and sister who pose different ideas on what to do with their family’s treasured piano.
During the six-minute video, fans could see Burruss and Tucker enjoying one another’s sisterly company as they playfully bickered and laughed throughout the video.
The “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star uploaded the video of her older daughter and stepdaughter onto her Instagram page showing gratitude for their promotion.
“My girls @rileyburrus & @kpt__ are working overtime to promote @thepianolessonplay. Check out the interview that they did in #WashingtonSqaurePark.”
Several fans noted how great it was to see the two beauties come together for the video after not always being on the best of terms.
“Love seeing Riley and Kaela getting along together as sisters… You guys did a great job!”
“I love that the girls are working together!”
“I love this, sister’s unite!”
The 20-year-old influencer and 26-year-old fashionista haven’t always seen eye to eye. In an interview with DJ Aone on an episode of “Speak On It” back in August, Tucker confessed not having the best relationship with her younger sister.
“We don’t see each other, we don’t call each other, we don’t text each other. Umm, yeah.”
Tucker further explained that although they both now live in New York, they only see each other when her father and stepmother come to town.
While shrugging her shoulders after Aone claimed that is just life as people grow older, Tucker confessed it would be nice to have regular check-ups with her stepsister, “I think from time to time a conversation would be cool. Just like a check-up.”
