Jada Pinkett Smith’s Cheeky Beach Throwback Has Some Wishing for Sun and Sand of Their Own

The winter blues are very real for people across the country, but none quite like those who are enduring the aftermath of storm Uri, which left much of Texas in the dark and under freezing temperatures.

While the cold, snowy and wet reality is hard to escape for some, actress Jada Pinkett Smith offered up a flashback of sun and sand to at least warm the minds of her followers. Set to the tune of “Summertime Magic” by Childish Gambino, Smith showcased a series of photos of herself enjoying better days of the past while on the beach.

While she was rocking a net dress that gave just a peek at her cheeky bathing suit underneath, it was her caption that garnered a flood of comments.

“How many of you could use some sand and sun right about now??? A little #fbf love❣️” she asked. And people responded.

“🗣All of us in Texas for sho!” and “Yeah to put on our streets in Texas!!” commented people dealing with the devastating storm aftermath that has cost people their homes, and in some instances their lives.

“Right here! me, me!”

“What is sand and sun? 😢❤️❤️😂😍” commented another.

“Everybody but ‘stay home and safe’ is better. Anyway thanks for making us travel via pictures,” wrote another person.

Apparently, among the thousands of people who are awaiting for power and water to be restored in Texas is reality television veteran-turned-actress Tami Roman. While in Atlanta working on a project, Roman claimed that her home as one of many damaged by the deep freeze.

Seemingly overcome with emotion, the actress shared a vulnerable moment on Instagram dealing with the news.

“I just wanted to offer prayers up for you and your situation. Sending love and light your way…And know that God makes no mistakes. And whatever you are going through it’s a reason for this season.”
