‘She Playin Ryan’: ‘Black Ink Crew: Chicago’ Star Rachel Leigh Apparently Back With Jeremih After This Picture Is Revealed

It looks like “Black Ink Crew: Chicago” star Rachel Leigh and her former boyfriend Jeremih might be an item again.

On Wednesday, April 15, the “Birthday Sex” singer took to Instagram and posted a photo of Leigh and their son lying in bed together. It’s unclear if Leigh was over his house in his bed, but many fans already assumed that was the case. Hours later, he deleted the image from his Instagram Story.

Leigh is the longtime off-and-on girlfriend of 9MAG owner and “Black Ink Crew: Chicago” star Ryan Henry, whom she has a 12-year-old son by. Henry, however, has raised Leigh and Jeremih’s 7-year-old son as his own, according to the tattoo artist.

Social media users had mixed reactions about Jeremih’s unexpected photo of the Pear Nova nail polish creator.

“She never wanted Ryan again, she wanted what he could offer her. Doesn’t show him affection at all.”

“This is toxic. She doesn’t want anyone to date Ryan but yet she wants to be out there and enjoy herself 🤦🏽‍♂️.”

“Run to the same person that NEVER claimed ur baby or u 🧐 nahh that ain’t the move sis.”

“I hope she lets Ryan move on . She clearly don’t want Ryan and she actually broke things off with him more than once.”

Leigh and Henry have been off and on for years. It seemed the pair reconciled during the season 6 finale episode, but Leigh later told a fan it was “tv love, land of make believe.” She recently dissed Henry when a fan suggested she “pass” him her way, Leigh responded, “It’s ghetto, I don’t recommend.”

Henry caught wind of Leigh’s shade and posted a photo of B2K singer Omarion Grandberry whose been deemed the “King of Unbothered.” After season 6’s midseason ended in February, he also confirmed in a now-deleted comment that he and Leigh weren’t together. He wrote, “I don’t want her. She Never wanted me. We got kids.. Next.”

As for Leigh and Jeremih, it’s unclear when the twosome began dating and when they initially called it quits. Nevertheless, it seems they possibly worked things out in their relationship.

Still independent.

We hope this story was worth your time. For over 14 years, Atlanta Black Star has stayed Black-owned and independently run. We didn't get here by waiting on ad budgets that were never built to prioritize us. Our readers did that.

Corporate support for Black media has always been thin. Outlets like ours get roughly 1% of the $170 billion spent on U.S. advertising each year, and that margin is shrinking further as advertisers walk back the DEI-linked commitments they made in 2020. That's the backdrop. It's not why we're asking.

The wider picture isn't any steadier. Newspaper ad revenue has fallen more than 80% since 2005, and local newsrooms are closing at a rate of roughly two a week nationwide. When outlets go under, it's rarely the ones built to center a Black perspective from the ground up that get to stick around.

We know a request for support isn't why you came here. But without readers choosing to fund this work directly, the depth of reporting we can do at home and abroad shrinks along with everyone else's. If you're not in a position to give, that doesn't change how much we value you as a reader.

If you are able to, a recurring contribution does more for us than a single one-time gift, because it lets us plan the next investigation instead of just the next invoice. It takes about 30 seconds, no long form, no account. Thank you for continuing to support independent journalism and freedom of the press.
