Tia Mowry-Hardrict has people reminiscing on the ’90s after she posted a photo of her recreating her outfit from the hit sitcom “Sister, Sister.” Mowry’s photo stirred up quite a buzz on the Internet, and fans are begging the network for a “Sister, Sister” television reboot.
The former teen sensation sported a pair of denim suspenders in addition to wearing a denim fedora hat with a flower in the center. She paired her overalls with a floral shirt and social media users went crazy at her ability to successfully recreate her look from Season 1 of her television show.
She captioned her photo with lyrics from the “Sister, Sister” theme song by saying, “I got my own mind! #sistersister.” Fans were feeling nostalgic and bombarded her page with lyrics from the show’s opening song, and they requested a reboot of the show.
“I do my own style in my own time ❤️,” a fan sang.
” ❤️❤️waiting for the show to do a reboot 😍❤️,”a second user confessed.
“Reboot!?!! Pleaseeeee ❤️,” a third fan begged.
“Are you guys coming back? 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽,” a fourth fan asked.
“I can’t wait for this reboot!,” a fifth user gushed.
“We just want a reboot😭😭😭,” a sixth fan cried.
While fans demand for the show to be rebooted, Mowry-Hardrict claims that a “Sister, Sister” reboot is kind of dead. The actress sat down with People TV and revealed that nothing is going on with the show right now. Mowry-Hardrict seemingly did not want to be the bearer of bad news, and said that a reboot may happen further down the road. However, she believes there will be a moment in time when she and her twin sister, Tamara Mowry-Housley, will work on another project together.
Mowry-Hardrict appears to be busy. In addition to her starring in the Netflix family sitcom “Family Reunion,” the star also created her own self-care line in the hopes of bringing diversity to the wellness industry.
Mowry-Hardrict’s line “Anser” is a multivitamin line for all ethnicities, genders and ages.
