A few folks apparently aren’t a fan of Toya Wright‘s recent weight loss.
The “T.I. & Tiny: Friends and Family Hustle” actress made fitness a priority for herself and her companion at the beginning of the year and has been on a fitness binge since then. On her Instagram feed this week, the 36-year-old mother of two posted a side-by-side collage of herself in 2018 before her apparent weight loss and her mean and lean body now.
It’s unclear on how much weight Wright has actually lost, but in February she did tell fans she’d set a goal to lose 15 pounds. With the help of her fitness trainer Kory Phillips, it seems she may have achieved the goal.
“April 2018 vs June 2019 #wnm,” she wrote in her caption of her before-and-after photos.
A few fans applauded her evident transformation.
“Looking amazing as usual 🔥❤️!!! Good job ma’am! I know it’s not easy 👍🏾,” one person remarked.
Another added, “Yassss sis getting fit all Year Longg ❤looking great Toya 😘!”
Other folks felt indifferent, claiming Wright looked perfectly fine in her before picture.
“Shidd it wasn’t nothing wrong wit 2018 you were fine before 🤷🏽 don’t lose no more bae!!!!!!! 😫.”
“2018 was a good year also what was the issue?? 😍 I like 2018 better but beautiful then & still beautiful now.”
“If you had a gut in the 2018 photo… it sure didn’t show @toyawright 🦋 2018 killing s–t 🤤😍👌🏽.”
Nowadays, the 36-year-old mother of two seems to be all about maintaining her appearance. In March, she and companion Robert Red Rushing participated in New Orleans’ Weight No More 5K race to help fight against obesity. They also entered another 5K walk that took place in Shreveport, Louisiana, and as for her eating habits, she recently cut out all sugar from her diet.
During a recent episode of “Friends and Family Hustle,” both Wright and Rushing discussed making health and fitness a priority for them in 2019 while showing off their intense workout sessions with Phillips. Their fitness regimes included working out on cable machines with pull-downs, crossovers, rowing and curls. They also used squat machines and bosu balls for balance.
