Toya Wright‘s lean and mean physique is stealing the spotlight on social media.
The television personality claimed 2019 would be her year to get back in shape, and fans say she’s made good on that goal. Pushed by her partner Robert ‘Red’ Rushing, Wright has seemingly been working hard in the gym, and it’s ostensibly paying off.
The “T.I. & Tiny: Friends and Family Hustle” star recently vacationed in Mexico with her family and friends and apparently had the time of her life. She posted a picture of herself posing on a yacht in a greenish-yellow, two-piece tube and skirt fringe ensemble. She smiled big for the camera
“Filling my mind with happy thoughts,” she wrote in her caption.
Wright’s skirt cinched at her waist and hugged her figure, showing off her apparently smaller frame.
“Slim ting 😍 looking great boo 🙌🏽,” LHHATL star Bambi said.
“Toya you rocking that girl looking good and slim 🔥👏.”
“Okayyyy waist!! Toya lookin snatched we see ya sis.”
“That girl getting skinntttyyyyy look at that waist 💛💛.”
Wright announced earlier this year she was on a journey to lose 15 pounds and began hitting the gym hard.
During a recent episode of “Friends and Family Hustle” the pair talked about making health and fitness a priority for them this year while showing off their intense workout sessions with fitness trainer Kory Phillips. They worked out on the cable machines with pull-downs, crossovers, rowing and curls. They also used squat machines and bosu balls for balance.
Another celebrity who made headlines for their recent weight-loss journey is the Queen Bey herself, Beyoncé.
During her Netflix documentary “Homecoming,” the superstar expressed that she went on an extremely strict diet before performing at Coachella in April 2018. She ditched all sugar and alcohol and focused on a plant-based diet. She also included lengthy workouts and dance rehearsals.
“In order for me to meet my goal, I’m limiting myself to no bread, no carbs, no sugar, no dairy, no meat, no fish, no alcohol,” she said. “And I’m hungry!”
It’s unclear how much weight the singer lost, but her success at Coachella goes unquestioned.
