Despite “Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta” star Erica Mena recently admitting her and her fiancé Safaree Samuels were trying for baby, fans suspect she’s already with child.
The 31-year-old model let the whole world know last week that her and her husband-to-be were in the process of trying to have a child. Her announcement followed after a few reports raised the possibility that the star was pregnant. Although she assured fans that she and Samuels were trying to conceive, folks still assume there’s a bun in the oven.
Since the broadcast of her baby news, fans have been paying close attention to the celeb’s physique, claiming that she’s picked up weight in her belly and breasts in a recent photo.
Mena took to Instagram on Monday with a photo of her and Samuels in their customized swimwear while vacationing and working in Jamaica. The pair apparently are in the rapper’s native country to shoot a music video for his and Jahmiel’s song “No Regular Girl.”

In the photo, fans noticed Mena’s stomach was seemingly bulging more than usual and claimed her breasts were fuller. They claimed the star’s apparent “happy weight” was because of supposedly being pregnant.

Mena replied back to fans, indicating that she was not pregnant, “No just thicker than before 😂 God willing soon but that’s all festival lol.”

The mother of one appeared on Instagram Live on March 28, conversing with a friend, when she said she’d been using sea moss — a supposed age-old Caribbean fertility concoction for couples trying to have a child — during her stay in the Caribbean.
“I’ve had sea moss,” Mena said to her friend. “‘Cause you know we’re trying to have a baby, so we’re putting it inside our drinks and stuff.”
The couple first announced they were dating around November 2018, a month after she broke up with her ex Cliff Dixon, who was shot and killed in suburban Atlanta last month. The pair then got engaged on Christmas Eve after the New York rapper proposed to her at her Atlanta home. They’ve supposedly set the date for the wedding but have yet to announce it on social media.
