“Love and Hip Hop” stars Safaree Samuels and Erica Mena wasted no time setting their wedding date.
Samuels popped the question to his fiancée on Christmas eve at her home in Atlanta. He pulled out a 14-carat diamond engagement ring while down on one knee and asked for Mena’s hand in marriage.
“Been planning this since your Birthday,” Samuels wrote. “From Center stone shopping to Ring design to Sneaking rings on your fingers in your sleep to get your ring size, ordering 10,000 rose petals 200 candles, a Fireworks show in your backyard.”
Well it looks like the New York rapper and his bride-to-be have also began planning their wedding. Samuels took to Twitter on December 26 and announced that he and Mena have already set their wedding date.

“Date set ❤️💎💍 Gonna be a movie!” Samuels tweeted on Wednesday. He did not specify he date to fans, however.
A rep told TMZ on Friday that the rapper did indeed ask Mena’s mother and son for their blessings before proposing to the model. The source told the outlet Mena’s family was 100 percent down with his engagement plans.
Fans have flooded both Samuels and Mena’s social media with congratulations.
