A post meant to spotlight former “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Peter Thomas continuing to go strong with his girlfriend wound up turning into a shade storm.
An “RHOA” fan Instagram account posted a photo of Thomas, who was formerly wed to Cynthia Bailey, with his girlfriend Toni. Thomas began dating Toni after his split from his model ex-wife in 2016.

“#PeterThomas is boo’d up with his girlfriend Toni! 👏🏾😍🔥 #RHOA,” the account captioned the photo of Thomas soaking up some time with his bae Sunday, Nov. 11, at his Sports One Bar & Lounge in his current hometown of Charlotte, N.C.
Some “RHOA” fans applauded the couple.
“She’s beautiful and I’m happy to see him and Cynthia in happy relationships and winning in life. ❤”
“I’m happy for both Peter and Cynthia. Way to move on.”

Others let the bashing set in.

And one threw some major shade at Thomas writing, “forgot he was a housewife.”
That promoted the fan account to write back, “You BETTA stop it!😂”
But others agreed with those sentiments and said he deserved a peach.

The comment references Thomas’ past inclination to chime in on the drama between the ladies on the cast. A season 6 a dust-up over a masquerade ball clash led Nene Leakes to get so fed up that she demanded Thomas “stay out of women business” and “stop trying to be a damn b—-.”
