Kenya Moore has been induced to give birth this weekend after telling fans she’ll have to deliver early due to a pregnancy complication.
“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” alum shared the update with fans Saturday night and asked for prayers.
“If you want to make God laugh have a plan… won’t be long now. Pray for us 🙏🏾 #babydaly #weloveyou #prayers,” Moore, in a hospital gown lying in bed, wrote in the caption of her Instagram post on Nov. 3.
As requested, the soon-to-be mom’s fans immediately poured out with messages of support.
“Praying for you.♡”
“May God bless you, your husband and your baby.”
“@thekenyamoore, you and #babydaly will be just fine, I had preeclampsia with my first born. She’s 31 now. Best Wishes & God Bless!”
“May the Almighty God grant u safe delivery and be God in your life may he also put a smile on your face in front of your enemies!”
“God’s got you. Prayers going up on your behalf🙏🙌. U got this.”
“I know that you don’t know me but I am so proud of you. Congratulations on your upcoming bundle of joy. I also wishing you a safe and healthy delivery. Be bless.”
Moore said she’d likely be giving birth to the baby she’s welcoming with husband Marc Daly well ahead of her Thanksgiving Day due date because she suffers from preeclampsia, a condition characterized by high blood pressure.
“I made fun of my swollen feet at @cynthiabailey10 party. Next day my tests came back for possible preeclampsia… I gained 17 lbs in ONE week due to severe swelling and water retention, high blood pressure, and excess protein in urine. This is NOT normal!” Moore said in the caption of an Instagram video on Oct. 27 where she said she feels “like crap.”
Further tests later confirmed the issue.
