Tamar Braxton’s Former Nanny Gets $213K from Lawsuit Over Unpaid Wages

Tamar Braxton‘s ex-nanny Sally Lou Perkins has settled a lawsuit against the singer for unpaid wages. Lou was paid the full $213,000 she requested in the suit.

Braxton and estranged husband Vincent Herbert listed their mansion for sale after announcing the separation. According to The Blast, the home was originally on the market for $15 million but sold for $9 million, $3 million less than the original asking price and about $1 million less than they paid for the home in 2012.

Perkins filed for a lawsuit with State of California Labor Standards Enforcement in regards to unpaid wages. Because a lien was placed on the property prior to the sale, Perkins was paid out first, in full. She plans to use the money won in her legal battle to help domestic worker’s rights.

The former nanny’s job during the singer’s “Love and War Tour entailed, “childcare aspects including preparing meals and snacks, transportation, getting dressed, create nurturing activities to stimulate development, social and emotional needs, clean bedrooms and do laundry,” the Blast reported.

Braxton is also facing disappointed by fans as they grip about her absence from the new season of her family’s show “Braxton Family Values.” Fans have found the current story plot unimpressive and unentertaining without her.
