Usher has been caught in a whirlwind of lawsuits related to accusations of exposing several women and at least 1 male to herpes. In the case brought on by accuser Quantasia Sharpton, Usher wants a judge to bar his responses.
Documents obtained by Bossip reveal Usher’s attorney filed the motion earlier this month. According to the “Confessions” singer, making his responses public would violate an existing agreement he has with Sharpton and another unnamed woman. Usher fears medical records and other private information about the anonymous woman is not pertinent to the public and should remain sealed.
Sharpton, who’s suing Usher for emotional distress may be negatively impacted by Usher’s request. The young woman has demanded the singer take an STD test to confirm whether he has the herpes virus. A judge is expected to hold a hearing next month.
