George Zimmerman is fired up about the Trayvon Martin documentary Jay-Z is producing and he has threatened the rapper over it. Zimmerman, who was found not guilty of the shooting death of the unarmed Black teenager in 2013, threatened to “beat” the rapper. According to The Blast, Zimmerman claimed his family had been harassed to appear in the documentary,
“I know how to handle people who f— with me, I have since February 2012,” he said, referring to killing Martin.
Zimmerman claimed executive producer Michael Gasparro showed up to the homes of his uncle and parents unannounced but declined to go into specifics about how they were “harassed.” He also did not state whether or not his family agreed to appear on camera.
He’s also fired up about his ex-wife being paid to show up in the doc and claimed producers have refused to pay his family members and wouldn’t explain further.
But he’s blaming Jay-Z and Gasparro regardless, saying “anyone who f—s with my parents will be fed to an alligator.”
Online, folks have been responding to the threats in various ways.
