Kanye West has rapped about girlfriend Kim Kardashian yet again.
This time, West brought up the sex tape that made Kardashian a star. In his new single “Clique,” West actually bragged about the tape.
“Eat breakfast at Gucci. My girl a superstar all from a home movie,” he rapped.
This is the third time this year West has mentioned his Kardashian in a song. He confessed his love for her in his song “Cold” and Kardashian appeared in the music video for the song. He also deemed her his “perfect bitch” in a song of the same name. Perhaps, Kardashian is West’s new muse.
But Kardashian isn’t the first lover West has rapped about.
Both Amber Rose and Alexis Phifer have been mentioned in West’s music. Rose was mentioned even after her relationship with West ended. His hit song “Runaway” was suspected to be about Rose and he dedicated the song to her at a performance. “To the city of Philly, I want to thank y’all for making the incredible person that this song was made for,” West said at one performance in Rose’s hometown last year. “I know love ain’t always easy. Especially when people [are] in your business like they all would be all the time, you know. Y’all gonna fight. Y’all gonna argue. It’s gonna be people hating on you and sh*t.”
Rose has spoken out about West mentioning her in his music and took the above comment as an apology. “But he called me an incredible person, and I take that as an apology. And if it was an apology, I forgive him for being an a*shole. I don’t hold any grudges. I don’t hate him. I want him to find a girl and for him to treat her better than he treated me. The next girl, she doesn’t deserve that.”
Before dating Rose, West was engaged to Alexis Phifer, who was mentioned in songs like West’s first single “Thru The Wire.” Many think his break-up tune “Heartless” is also about Phifer.
