Update: Hip hop superstar Drake recently purchased a beautiful $7.7 million dollar mansion in the secluded Hidden Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles.
While the price tag may seem a bit excessive, the deal was a bargain given not only the house’s many amenities but its original market price of $27 million. The Canadian-born rapper took advantage of the current state of the housing market and pounced on this jewel of a property.
The house comes equipped with hidden caves, horse stables, equestrian ring, sand volleyball court, gigantic water slide and fake lagoons.
The property also boasts a tennis court, which would have been perfect when the rapper dated Wimbledon champion Serena Williams.
A fully loaded arcade room also sits within the home, and whenever Drake or his guest would like to test their balance there is a mechanical bull with a viewing area. Perhaps he and his off-again, on-again love Rihanna might have some riding competitions on the bull. The couple was scheduled to meet up this week in Europe as Rihanna sailed around the coast of Sardinia with friends on a luxury yacht.
Another amenity that is sure to be a hit with the ladies in Drake’s new home is the spa and massage room. The mansion also contains a gigantic master suite, complete with walk-in closets and his and hers bathrooms. Nothing keeps a relationship going strong like separate bathrooms.
Drake recently sold his two luxurious condos in Miami’s prestigious Marquis Residences to Miami Heat guard Mario Chalmers. Despite his partying ways the condos were in pristine conditions and boasted floor-to-ceiling glass doors and windows, gourmet kitchens, exotic, natural wood cabinetry and noise-reduction partition walls.
The two side-by-side apartments sold for $2.4 million—quite a bit short of the $7 million Drake paid in L.A. But if you’re in the market for caves and fake lagoons, you’re gonna have to spend some money.
