DJ Khaled Releases Onslaught of New Music For ‘Suffering From Success’

dj khaledWith less than a week left before his new album “Suffering From Success” is released, DJ Khaled has been flooding the Internet with new music to build anticipation for the album.

On Tuesday Khaled released two new tracks “I’m Still” and “You Don’t Want These Problems” with both featuring a star-studded lineup. Now Khaled is back to give fans two more new songs: “Never Surrender” featuring Scarface, Jadakiss, Meek Mill, John Legend, Anthony Hamilton and Akon; and there’s also “No Motive “ by Lil Wayne.

As reported by rap-up.com:

“DJ Khaled brings together another all-star team on ‘Never Surrender,’ the latest release from his album Suffering From Success (due Oct. 22). Produced by StreetRunner and Khaled, the soulful street anthem features gritty stories from Scarface, Jadakiss, and Meek Mill, mixed with the R&B stylings of John Legend, Anthony Hamilton, and Akon.”

“No Motive” by Lil Wayne is one of the few tracks on Khaled’s new album where an artist stands alone, as most of the songs feature a crew of artists. Wayne does an OK  job to stand out, but the song is similar to many of his records.

According to hiphopwired.com:

“LilWayneHQ debuted the record. The YMCMB rapper delivers his standard brand of rap with heavy metaphors over dreary production. The tune dons heavy synths and knocking drums. There are also some chopped and screwed vocals that give off a syrupy, Houston feel. Lyrically, the song is very much in the same vein as much of Tunechi’s recent releases. Take that how you want.”

With all the promotions of pictures and videos that Khaled has posted leading up to the release of Suffering For Success there was little doubt that it would showcase a myriad of heavyweight talented artists, and this week’s onslaught of music releases proves that.

Most DJ compilation albums typically don’t sell many units, but with his line up talent, DJ Khaled may be ready to buck that trend. Suffering From Success will be available for purchase Oct. 22.
