The Heat Burn The Pistons 112-107 in Preseason Game

Dwyane Wade was back on the court for the Miami Heat’s 112-107 preseason victory over the Detroit Pistons Thursday night.

Guard Dwyane Wade, who missed Monday’s game due to sore legs, closed with eight points, four assists and four rebounds in 21:21.

Chris Bosh scored 28 points for Miami. James Jones added 12 points and LeBron James and Michael Beasley had nine each for the reigning NBA champions. James had seven assists.

Beasley, who was returned to the Heat from Minnesota Timberwolves, spent the bulk of his minutes alongside the likes of Jones, Ray Allen, Jarvis Varnado and Norris Cole—adding two rebounds to his nine points.

“To play meaningful minutes, it was fun,” Beasley said. “I just wanted to play good defense and let whatever offense there was come to me.”

Bosh was fantastic again, following up Monday’s 21-point effort by shooting 12 of 16 from the field in his 25 minutes, again converting his lone 3-point attempt of the night.

“He’s coming out aggressive and he’s finding open spots,” Spoelstra said. “He’s doing it all in the flow.”

James shot 1 of 4 from the field, but made that up by shooting 7 of 8 from the free throw line.
