Malcolm D. Lee’s sequel to “The Best Man,” titled “The Best Man Holiday,” reunites the entire cast of stars from the first film. Including Taye Diggs, Nia Long, Morris Chestnut, Harold Perrineau, Terrence Howard, Sanaa Lathan, Monica Calhoun, Melissa De Sousa and Regina Hall, the sequel reprises their roles in a story set 15 years after the original.
In the upcoming film, the college friends reunite during the Christmas holidays, 15 years after the first film. Long-forgotten rivalries and romances are reignited, causing the drama fans loved the first time around, but there’s a twist.
“I’ll say that there’s another big event,” teased actor Taye Diggs in a previous interview. “In the first one, there was a wedding and [now] there’s another big event that brings us all together.”
The new poster which surfaced today, features the whole gang seemingly in a very jolly mood, appropriate for the holiday season. “The Best Man Holiday” is set to hit theaters Nov. 15. Check out the trailer here if you haven’t seen it yet, and take a look below at the new poster.
