The amazingly powerful 16-year-old climbed to the top of the U.S. women’s gymnastics championship, beating out teammate Kyla Ross with a score of 60.500.
In the video, watch how the 4-foot-8 gymnast from Spring, Texas leaps, flips and jumps with amazing agility and precision during her floor exercise routine.
Biles also put up a 15.8 to beat fellow teammate McKayla Maroney’s 15.7 in the vault, but only placed second to Maroney because her second vault’s difficulty was low.
“She blows my mind with her stuff,” Maroney said to reporters at the meet. “She’s amazing.”
