The salary of “Real Housewives of Atlanta” stars NeNe Leakes, Kenya Moore, Kandi Burruss and Cynthia Bailey have been revealed for the sixth season.
Kenya joined the top-rated Bravo TV reality show just last season, but has clearly made an impact. The ratings for part three of RHOA’s fifth season reunion special came third only to HBO’s “Game of Thrones” and the NBA playoffs, according to Wetpaint.com. An insider via US Magazine revealed, that Kenya “‘..is very happy to be back!’ and “will also get a substantial raise for her contributions to the Bravo show’s success — a whopping $600,000 for the season, with additional bonuses based on ratings.”
The insider added, “NeNe [Leakes], Kim [Zolciak] and Kandi [Burruss] make $800,000 a season but they can make more for doing certain special things, like Kim taking off her wig. Phaedra and Porsha make $50,000 per season.”
Despite the claims of the “insider”, The Miami Herald reported last year, ahead of season 5 that NeNe Leakes would receive $1 Million per season, making her the highest paid housewife at the time. Other rumors circulated that Phaedra, Cynthia and Khandi received approximately $300,000 per season while their male significant others received $75,000 per season. Porsha Stewart received $150,000 for coming in mid-season. Kim Zolciak who quit the show during season 6, was the second highest paid behind NeNe with a reported $700,000 salary per season.
Bravo has not confirmed the salaries in the past or present. It is anyone’s guess if said “insider” is attempting to prop up Kenya, while bringing down her co-stars Phaedra and Porsha—with whom she’s had disagreements.
