Body Envy: Naomi Campbell, 43, Raises the Bar on the Runway at Paris Fashion Week

Naomi Campbell isn’t relying on chocolate for relief from her breakup of a five-year relationship with Russian billionaire Vladimir Doronin.

Instead the stunning 5 foot 9 inch model showed her ex-boyfriend what he’s missing by strutting her amazing body down the runway in Paris.

According to NY Daily News, Naomi did not disappoint and even left some in awe as she opened for Versace at Fall/Winter 2013 Paris Couture Fashion Week.

Naomi Campbell not only owns the clothes she wears, but by her sheer magnetic presence commands the entire runway when she walks it. Donatella Versace knows this well, casting the age-defying 43-year-old to start Paris haute couture week with a bang of indomitable energy.

It was a hard act to follow.

There were awed gasps from A-lister Uma Thurman on Sunday night when the panther-like Campbell steamed past to open the Atelier Versace show in strong-shouldered micro-sequin black jacket held together revealingly just by hooks-and- eyes, covered in Swarovski crystals.

Speaking about her return to the catwalk Naomi told reporters present: “I’m so happy to be here in Paris tonight to walk for Donatella. We’ve known each other over 25 years now. Straight away I felt like part of the family, everybody was so warm and supportive.”

Following the breakup, Naomi reportedly played a hand in the dismissal of Chinese model Luo Zilin from her New York modeling agency, after she was spotted cuddling with Vladmir. Luo was a contestant on Naomi’s debut fashion reality TV show “The Face.”

While Noami has remained mum, a source close to the model reportedly shared with U.K.’s MailOnline last month that she’ is focusing on work,

“Naomi is just concentrating on work. She doesn’t want to be drawn into this. It seems to be the case that Vlad is just trying to get an unfair dig in at Naomi – he can’t seem to leave her alone.”

After catching a glimpse of Naomi on the runway, it is likely Vlad is feeling a tinge of regret…
