Yesterday, Tracy Morgan got into a little car accident on the Upper East Side of New York City. Last night, while the 30 Rock star was getting out of his car, he struck an oncoming cyclist with his door.
The funnyman star was sitting in his Jaguar on Third Avenue at around 9:00 p.m. when the unidentified delivery man slammed into his vehicle.
“I mean this guy was wearing all black. If you want to write a story about something, write a story about how these guys should wear lights or reflectors or something,” Morgan told the press as he waited for a repairman to fix his damaged door, which would not shut after the collision.
Morgan felt like he had to explain the reason that he was sitting in his car. He mentioned that he was waiting for his personal trainer. The actor also said these types of accidents are normal for a New Yorker. “This kind of stuff happens all the time in the city. I grew up in the city. I’ve been dealing with this stuff for years. Brooklyn-born and raised, Bed-Stuy do or die,” Morgan screamed out before jumping into his car and leaving.
