A series of viral posts has brought sexual misconduct concerns at Spelman and Morehouse into the spotlight.
At least one woman says she was sexually assaulted and has publicly named individuals.
Online rumors also allege that other women were assaulted by Morehouse students; those claims have not been independently confirmed.

Spelman College, Morehouse College, and Morehouse School of Medicine issued a joint statement:
“Our institutions stand together in our commitment to fostering a safe, respectful, and supportive environment across the entire Atlanta University Center. We take all concerns regarding sexual harassment and misconduct seriously, and we remain dedicated to the safety and well-being of every student.”
The institutions also shared campus-specific reporting options, counseling services, and 24/7 confidential crisis support.
