‘Sick Man’: Trump Lashes Out at Judge’s Wife After Losing in Court — as His Kennedy Center Fight Takes Another Ugly Turn

President Donald Trump is determined to leave a lasting mark on the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.

It seems he will stop at nothing, even if that means lashing out a judge’s wife.

Since returning to the White House, Trump has used that authority to take over the memorial building in Washington, D.C., dedicated to the late 35th president and the Kennedy Center board.

The MAGA leader had to battle in court over his Kennedy Center rebranding scheme.

But U.S. District Judge Christopher Cooper, is holding firm against Trump’s administration, eventually sided against the unlawful naming.

The court argued that the president needed congressional approval to make the change. Cooper also issued a preliminary injunction blocking Trump’s plan to close the center for two years.

The administration insisted the venue needed repairs and had to be shut down after debris fell from the ceiling.

But Trump’s anger over the courtroom defeat suggested the shutdown plan was more about revenge than renovations.  And he hasn’t taken the legal loss lightly.

Back in May, the thin-skinned politician turned his fury toward a woman not even directly involved in the case, Cooper’s wife, Amy Jeffress.

The president slammed Jeffress in a 722-word tirade on Truth Social. He posted, “Yet the Trump-hating judge wants to keep it open because his wife probably told him to do so!”

By October, Trump was targeting Cooper and Jeffress again during a 23-posting spree over the judicial decision.

“The Kennedy Center is crumbling, and a great danger to anyone who walks inside,” Trump claimed in an Oct. 4 message on Truth Social.

He continued, “It’s been this way for years, and will only get worse unless the radical left judge, with his Trump-hating lawyer wife, allows me to do what must be done!”

In addition, the POTUS flooded his page with a barrage of images supposedly showing the Kennedy Center’s poor condition. The captions featured words such as “disrepair,” “dilapidated,” and “grotesque.”

The photos have not been authenticated, as of this writing. Due to his history of regularly posting AI-generated content on social media, skepticism is warranted.

“Out of touch, and definitely out of mind!” an X user exclaimed in reaction to Trump’s Sunday afternoon internet tantrum over the Kennedy Center.

Trump targeting the judge’s spouse led to another person tweeting, “Honestly, it’s wild how he turns structural repairs into a political smear campaign.”

Plus, one poster stated, “If it is as bad as he says it is, he should want to fix it whether his name is on the building or not. The fact that he won’t just shows what a petty piece of crap he is.”

Some people wondered why he didn’t mention his other unfinished vanity construction projects in the nation’s capital.

“Nothing about the East Wing or the Reflecting Pool,” wrote a second poster. Another said, “Ohhhh no. Let’s not forget what happened with the Reflecting Pool. You need to keep your greasy Big Mac-grabbing mitts off of it.”

Looks like some dust & trash on the floor or something swept up for a photo op This when one lies constantly & tries to spend all the $$$ except for his own.

“He’s going to tear it down,” predicted another commenter.

Trump previously said that the Kennedy Center could be “ripped down” if his administration is not able to move forward with his changes.

The legal fight over the Kennedy Center and the fallout from the litigation placed a huge spotlight on the popular D.C. landmark. The conflict over the site has fueled internet gossip.

For instance, recent reports alleged that pianos had been removed from the location and could be sold. A spokesperson for the Kennedy Center has denied those rumors.

According to WUSA9, a Kennedy Center representative said 16 Steinway pianos were removed because the leases on those instruments were expiring. The representative said 15 pianos remain at the center.

Democracy needs journalism it can trust.

This election season, the stakes are higher than usual — and so is the pressure on newsrooms to soften their coverage, stay quiet, or just disappear. Independent reporting, the kind that answers to readers instead of advertisers or political pressure, matters more in a moment like this, not less.

For over 14 years, Atlanta Black Star has stayed independent and reader-funded. We have no corporate owner and no shareholders telling us what to cover or how to cover it. That independence is also our biggest vulnerability: nothing protects it except readers choosing to fund it directly.

Newspaper ad revenue has fallen more than 80% since 2005, and local newsrooms are closing at a rate of roughly two a week nationwide. When outlets go under in a moment like this, it's rarely the independent, reader-funded ones that get to stick around.

We know a request for support isn't why you came here. But without readers choosing to fund this work directly, the depth of reporting we can do at home and abroad shrinks along with everyone else's. If you're not in a position to give, that doesn't change how much we value you as a reader.

If you are able to, a recurring contribution does more for us than a single one-time gift, because it lets us plan the next investigation instead of just the next invoice. It takes about 30 seconds, no long form, no account. Thank you for continuing to support independent journalism and freedom of the press.
