President Donald Trump’s latest departure from the White House gave Americans something else to talk about — without him saying a word.
For weeks, seemingly routine moments have turned into viral fodder once the cameras catch Trump on the move.
He’s been traveling state to state a few times a week, and it seems jet lag is starting to weigh on him terribly.

The 80-year-old has found himself under an unforgiving social media microscope after a short trip across the White House grounds.
His latest outing was no exception, prompting viewers to rewind the footage of his stumbles and unusual movements.
Trump spoke with reporters on the South Lawn on Oct. 1 before heading toward Marine One.
After taking questions about Iran, Venezuela, and other issues, the POTUS turned to walk toward the presidential helicopter.
Instead of taking the most direct route, Trump walked diagonally toward one edge of the stone pathway before shifting in the opposite direction.
He made a noticeable zigzag before straightening his path and continuing toward Marine One.
The unusual route did not escape social media’s attention.
One X user said, “Is he going to dub his zig-zag walking ‘The Weave,’ like his rambling, boring, bizarre rambling?” Another asked, “Where the f is he going lol.”
Most noted that “OMG … Trump can’t walk in a straight line,” while pointing out Natalie Harp, Margo Martin, and other staffers trailing behind.
Harp, Trump’s executive assistant, travels with him regularly, carrying a large bag of his necessities and a computer. Critics debated whether Trump was under the influence and needed a guardrail or further assistance.
“Has he lost all his peripheral vision? He can’t see the edge of the path until he’s almost walked off; it’s also why he never knows who is sitting next to him?”
Another person joked, “If I didn’t know any better, I’d say he was drunk! But apparently, he doesn’t imbibe, with Diet Coke being his drink of choice!”
A third X user had an even simpler explanation: “It’s because his legs are on backward.”
The viral moment comes as viewers increasingly focus on how the president moves during public appearances. And walking apparently isn’t the only thing getting attention.
Just two days earlier, another clip circulated showing Trump trying to take his seat during the Sept. 29 launch of America.gov.
After delivering remarks, Trump approached a table. He was expected to sign an executive order.
The president reached toward the table as he lowered himself toward the chair. Dr. Mehmet Oz, administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, stood nearby.
The doctor moved closer and appeared to offer support as Trump took his time settling into his seat.
That brief interaction prompted McGill Media to compile moments of the president needing help sitting down on Threads.
“I am not shocked he can’t sit down by himself … that man is not healthy … not one bit!” one person wrote. Another commenter declared, “He’s too old to hold office !”
The White House has maintained that Trump is in excellent health.
Still, the footage joins a growing collection of moments involving Trump’s movements. His medical records also show that the president has several documented health conditions.
Trump has a history of high cholesterol and takes medication to control it. His medical history also includes diverticulosis and well-managed rosacea.
More recently, the White House revealed in July 2025 that Trump had been diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency after experiencing mild swelling in his lower legs.
The condition affects how efficiently blood returns from the legs to the heart and can cause swelling and discomfort. The diagnosis has added context for some observers watching Trump’s movements, which continue to draw attention.
During a Sept. 17 Rose Garden appearance, Trump appeared to stumble slightly while approaching a podium. He recovered before falling. Trump then stopped and slapped his upper right thigh twice before continuing toward the lectern.
Then came his Sept. 24 appearance with First Lady Melania Trump during Chinese President Xi Jinping’s White House visit.
Video appeared to show Trump drifting to one side as the couple walked down a red carpet. The movement seemed to force Melania toward the edge of the carpet.
However, a closer look offered another explanation. Trump may have been heading toward a designated position to make room for Xi and his wife.
The White House has offered no indication that the recent moments are connected. The attention has only intensified as the incidents have piled up within weeks of one another.
Online, Trump’s previous public appearances, along with his stumbles, unusual gait, and awkward sit-down, have left their mark.
Cameras keep capturing moments that sharpen the focus on how the 80-year-old president moves. They also raise a larger question: whether he is well enough to lead one of the world’s most powerful nations.
