A white bargoer spewed a racial slur at a Black bouncer twice his size and immediately regretted it.
A Reddit user posted the wild video of the mismatched fight on Sept. 12 and shows the bouncer seemingly “ragdolling” the patron around the sidewalk outside the venue.
In the blurry footage, the bouncer first clasped both hands around the man’s head—who was easy to track during the chaos because he was wearing high-visibility clothing.
“Who the f–k you calling a n—er,” he yelled out as he pushed the man to the ground. “I will f–k you up, don’t you ever call me no g-ddamned n—er.”
Another bar employee jumped in to help, futilely trying to break up the fight as the bouncer flung the man across the sidewalk and into the street.
But within seconds, the man popped back up, foolishly ready for another round. The bouncer had already walked away when a bystander chimed in with words of support, saying, “He deserved that, good for you, bro!”
In the video, the employee appears to call the police, though it’s unclear what happened once the camera stopped rolling.
Still on the phone, the man approached again, and the employee shoved him a second time. As one commenter quipped, “Like a moth to the flame. He returns.”
Commenters mocked the man for his poor choice of target. “When the dude you’re calling the word can grab your whole head with both hands like a basketball, you’ve made a bad decision,” wrote one.
Another described the video’s appeal as an example of “first class FAFO.”
A few people pushed back, saying that using a racist slur is not fair game for beating someone up, and that the bouncer went further than necessary once the man was already on the ground.
Others disagreed, noting that the bouncer showed restraint given the size difference, and could have inflicted much more damage.
As one put it, “Freedom of speech does not mean freedom from a– whooping.”
