Melania Trump is breaking her silence on the salacious whispers about Donald Trump swirling around Washington, D.C.
And her message is clear: She does not want her legacy riddled with subtext about her husband and his alleged affair.
Melania and her team are seemingly fed up with online banter implying that Trump, 80, has been leaning on a White House aide in ways that exceed professional norms.
However, Trump’s wife did not free up time in her mysterious schedule to address the rumors herself.
Instead, Melania’s exclusive senior adviser, Marc Beckman, stepped in to deny the wild claims. He has worked for the former model since at least 2004.
The strategist appeared on the Sept. 8 episode of the “Stella News” YouTube show to discuss Trump’s eyebrow-raising relationship with Natalie Harp.
Harp, 35, serves as the president’s special assistant and executive assistant. She and Melania recently crossed paths during the 250 Grand Prix in August. As soon as Trump’s wife left his side, the blonde assistant swooped in to cater to him.
She has worked for the president since 2022. But their connection first became public when he invited her to speak at the 2020 Republican National Convention.
Host Stella Escobedo vented that the media is “endlessly obsessed with garbage tabloid gossip of Natalie Harp, who, by the way, is a hardworking White House aide to President Trump, a cancer survivor who POTUS helped get off label treatment for and saved her life.”
She asked, “What do you make of that?”
Melania’s right-hand man quipped that “The liberal media is ridiculous. They don’t know anything about the first lady’s personal and private life. They don’t even take the time to put on us on air to cover these incredible achievements that our first lady has.”
“They’re all attacking this hardworking, very talented, very intelligent person in Natalie Harp, and they’re obsessed with the gossip about this first family,” Beckman continued. “I can tell you firsthand that it’s time for them to become journalists and stop looking at the gossip.”
Escobedo interjected, “There’s nothing wrong with their relationship.”
Social media users were blown away by her remark and his explanations. Many argued that the response sounded like it came from a committee of aides with the “maturity level of eight-year-olds.”
“I wonder who wrote the script for this situation. This seems too convenient for all parties involved, hmmmm,” one person replied.
This fueled speculation about Harp, with one critic claiming, “Harp’s own brother says she’s gone off the deep end.” Another chimed in, “Seriously, how exactly has she helped America.”
Preston Harp has also offered a glimpse into his sister’s long-standing fascination with presidents. He said Natalie wrote letters to presidents before Trump, including George W. Bush, and described her devotion to Trump as an “unhealthy obsession.”
Some joked about a recent report claiming Harp received a pricey gift. She, along with communications adviser Margo Martin and deputy director of Oval Office operations Chamberlain Harris, each received $45,000 as a holiday gift from Trump.
A third detractor piled on by stating, “Melania’s accomplishments? Other than prime time grifting and figuring out how to stay away from Trump, I can’t think of one. Natalie = fatal attraction. Hoping in the trunk of a car to be by his side, running after his golf cart, moving into locker room at Bedminister for close proximity- what else would you call it?”
“That’s funny, I don’t think an ‘intelligent’ woman chases after the President begging for his approval as she posts AI slop for him and lurches over his every move to make sure he still loves her,” read a fourth reaction.
Melania: “Now, take my husband, PLEASE!”
Three years ago, cameras caught Harp sprinting behind Trump’s golf cart during his trip to Trump Turnberry in Scotland.
Those photos resurfaced last month, putting their unusual dynamic back in the spotlight.
Letters, purportedly written by the aide, were obtained by the Daily Beast and The New York Times. In them, Harp allegedly asked for Trump’s forgiveness for being a distraction on the course.
She continues to stick out at official events and during Trump’s leisure outings. This is especially true now that sightings of Melania have become scarce.
This year, she has made around 40 appearances, fueling speculation that she is intentionally distancing herself from her husband.
