One woman in President Donald Trump‘s inner circle has sent the internet into a frenzy.
Natalie Harp, executive assistant to the POTUS, has become a political lightning rod as questions about her ties to Trump raise eyebrows.
The media, politicians, late-night comedians, and online trolls have zeroed in on how close she keeps to Trump at all times.
Bombshell reports about Harp continue to expose more behind-the-scenes details about her personal bond with her boss.
Harp’s sudden visibility has also brought older claims about her unusual closeness to Trump back into focus.
In his 2025 book, “All or Nothing: How Trump Recaptured America,” Michael Wolff, a veteran Trump biographer, detailed the claims
An excerpt from “All or Nothing” was published in Vanity Fair in February that year. Portions of that article are now making the rounds in the wake of Harp’s recent high-profile attention.
According to the Trump biographer, Harp penned letters to the president that caused “bewilderment and concern” for his political and legal teams.
The messages purportedly portrayed a “relationship of an imagined alarming intimacy or one of genuinely strange submissiveness,” Wolff, 72, insisted.
Harp has shadowed Trump at briefings and golf outings, including a summer visit to his National Golf Club Bedminster in New Jersey.
Apparently, she did not have accommodations at the resort, but that did not stop her from staying nearby.
“She had reached out to the grounds staff at the country club and gotten herself a maid’s room,” Wolff wrote. Harp’s determination to be near Trump got even more extreme.
“And when that proved too far from the main house to respond quickly enough to Trump’s calls, she relocated herself to the much closer women’s locker room,” he continued.
Wolff maintains that Harp spent that summer at Bedminster using that locker room as her lodging quarters. He viewed the move as an example of her “lovestruck adulation” of Trump.
Other people shared their thoughts on Harp’s unusual summertime housing. Many social media users echoed Wolff’s viewpoint of the odd situation.
“Are you kidding me??? She sounds like a real nut case,” stated one Threads user. A second individual asked, “How much is she being paid?”
Harp reportedly earns about $150,000 as Trump’s gatekeeper and right-hand woman. But no one could fathom why she would sleep in a locker room.

But the most eyebrow-raising claim comes from another account of Trump’s inner circle, which placed Harp’s devotion to him in a striking category of its own.
Many wondered why Trump wouldn’t override the room denial, suspecting, “Melania said no.”
“OMG, she’s an obsessive nut job, shouldn’t be in meetings or anywhere near the office. Her brother even said he is worried about her mental health,” read another post.
