Gospel singer Tina Campbell has largely stayed silent since splitting from her husband, Glendon “Teddy” Campbell.
The two were married for nearly 26 years and raised five kids before Teddy filed for divorce four months ago.
The Mary Mary singer never publicly addressed the split. Instead, she leaned into her faith on social media. Now, she’s finally responding.
Tina stopped posting about her husband on her social media pages in 2024. That same year, she also abandoned their joint Instagram page.
She still hasn’t publicly discussed the breakup, but newly filed court documents reveal where she stands.
On Aug. 5, TMZ reported that Tina filed a response to her husband’s divorce petition, addressing custody arrangements for two of their five children, as well as spousal support.
The 52-year-old is seeking primary legal and physical custody of her sons, Glendon Theodore Campbell Jr., 17, and Santana Campbell, 14.
Their blended family also includes three older children.
Teddy entered the relationship with his daughter, Cierra, from a previous relationship. He and Tina later welcomed two daughters together, Laiah Simone, 22, and Meela Jane, 19.
Tina agrees that her soon-to-be ex can have visitation with their children.
The “Walking” singer also asked the court to deny spousal support to either party. Court documents state the couple has no shared assets or debts to divide.
Fans shared their thoughts on Tina’s response.

Teddy initially filed for divorce on April 13, citing irreconcilable differences. He listed the date of separation as June 2024.
However, fans of the former “Mary Mary” reality show know this union didn’t come without its trials and tribulations.
Viewers got a closer look into their relationship alongside her sister Erica and her husband, Warryn Campbell.
The six-season series pulled back the curtain on Teddy’s repeated infidelities, including an affair with a female employee the couple considered family.
Tina never hid how deeply the betrayal affected her and her vengeful response.
In 2013, she revealed that he had been unfaithful but chose to forgive him, rebuild their marriage, and renew their vows, documenting their difficult journey toward healing.
During their 2015 appearance on “Steve Harvey,” Tina said, “It broke my heart. “It devastated me, and I spazzed out. I destroyed three cars, I cut up and crashed up and tried to stab and plotted murders and all kind of crazy stuff because I was angry, and I started doing all of that.”
The singer said she realized her behavior was like her “practicing dying every day.”
So she decided, “Either I’m going die wrong or live right, and so we’ve been working on living right.”
Tina and Teddy chose to give their marriage another shot, and up until Teddy’s filing there hadn’t been any public scandals.
The last photo Tina shared with Teddy was in April 2024, showing the couple in matching “Black Is The Brand” hoodies alongside their children during what appeared to be a family getaway. Nothing since.
Since filing for divorce, Teddy has focused on promoting his band and his new book, “7 Steps From the Church to the Oscars,” while Tina has kept her attention on faith, family, and now, the legal process.
