Grammy-nominated singer Tamar Braxton admitted to once wanting a Brazilian Butt Lift when she joined in on an interview with gospel talent Kirk Franklin on his podcast, “Good Works with Kirk Franklin.”
In the Apple Podcasts interview, Braxton jokingly explained what a BBL is by describing it as, “The booty shots is what gives the females like the silhouette of an ant.”
As laughter amongst Franklin and Braxton died dow, she candidly discussed why she was no longer infatuated with receiving the fat transfer.
“It’s not who I am. That’s me putting on another facade, that’s me putting on another face that I gotta keep up.”
She continued, “It’s too expensive, and I can afford a bbl, praise God but it’s too expensive spiritually and mentally for me to live that way. That’s not who I am, who am I pretending for?”
Many fans admired Braxton’s truth surrounding wanting to change her body.
“Tamar been a real one, I love her”
“Yess Tamar, let the people know!”
While fans supported the 45-year-old’s claims about no longer wanting a BBL, several others brought up the former work she had done on her face.
“She should have left her face alone”
“But Tamar… Nvm”
“I wish she realized that before she had all that face work done.”
Although the “Love and War” singer has denied surgery allegations, in an interview with RNBPhilly she admitted to receiving nose surgery, however, it was for medical reasons.
She told the gossip blog, “I had a nose job. But not for the reason everybody thinks. I was born with no cartilage in my nose, and it made my breathing very difficult. “
She continued, “So, I’ve had a couple surgeries- the first time they put an implant in and I had to have it removed – so eventually they took some cartilage from my ear and put it in my nose.”
Braxton has opened up about her nose job on her hit reality TV show, “Braxton Family Values.”
