Tisha Campbell has fans doing a double take at a recent photo shared to social media.
The “Uncoupled” actress proudly posted an image of her and her eldest son Xen on Aug. 21. In the flick, Campbell is wearing a black hat as she smiles and lovingly rests her head against her son’s shoulder. Xen, who is wearing a gray T-shirt, beams with joy as a big smile is seen plastered across his face.
Campbell captioned the post, “He’s an amazing man! Look at that smile. That’s all we want as mothers. Happy Sunday!”
“Real talk Tisha.. I love this photo. His face alone says.. LOVE.. I have a great mom,” read a comment.
“Nothing like a baby boy- especially a Mama’s Boy,” read another.
“He is amazing and your an amazing Mom,” a third fan wrote.
But it did not take long for the comments to derail once fans noticed just how much Xen resembles his famous father, actor Duane Martin. The “Martin” actress and her husband of over two decades divorced in 2020. They also share a younger son, Ezekiel Czar Martin, 12.
One person commented, “Wowwww i thought that this was Duane.”
“Girl I thought that was your ex. I was gon be like, um okay. :/” wrote another.
“Chile I thought you and someone got back…nvm his dad genes strong,” commented a third.
In a separate post, the proud mom gleefully shared that her 21-year-old son recently landed an exciting new job. “So, this guy here is studying to be an animal conservationist at his college, and tell them about your new job buddy,” said Campbell before allowing Xen to take the helm. “I will be researching butterflies,” he said. “Look at that, with his professor. Get it boy, I’m proud of you,” the actress said between squeals of happiness.
His achievement and overall mature demeanor left fans stunned at how quickly he seemingly grew up. “Wow!!! Geez they all grown!!” wrote actress Terri J Vaughn. Reality TV personality Apryl Jones commented, “Awwwwww he is so grown now!!!!”
