Although reality TV personality Phaedra Parks was let go from her original reality show, “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” the Southern Belle is still making her coins from being on the “Housewives” franchise, just in a different location.
Phaedra Parks made her way onto the recent episode of “The Real Housewives of Dubai” as friend of Dubai cast member Caroline Brooks. She explained in an interview with Andy Cohen last week, “Actually Brooks is getting ready to help me find a home over there.” She also continued to say, “Her family and my family are good friends.”
Many viewers had a lot to say about Phaedra’s transition from Atlanta to Dubai.
“Phaedra is going to move to Dubai to be back on housewives. She knows she can’t get back on RHOA so she’s setting up shop with the housewives in Dubai. Mark my words.”
“So do Phaedra live in Dubai now or she just there because Kandi won’t film with her in Atlanta?”
Phaedra was let go from “RHOA” after six seasons in 2017, after falsely accusing former castmate Kandi Burruss and husband Todd of trying to harm former castmate Porsha Williams.
Many years have passed since the debacle and before it was revealed that she would make cameos on “RHODubai,” fans speculated she was making her grand return to Atlanta.
However, Kandi Burruss made it clear to fans and to the public that if Phaedra ever came back to “RHOA,” she’d leave the Bravo franchise.
Earlier this year on the “It’s Tricky with Raquel Harper” podcast, she was asked if she would still be on the show if Phaedra were brought back. The Xscape singer answered, “No” and added, “I don’t think she and I need to interact.”
Since her exit, Phaedra has been on other reality shows such as “Marriage Boot Camp: Hip Hop Edition” and her most recent show, “The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip.”
While Atlanta may be a closed door for Phaedra, her new beginning might be in Dubai.
