Fans praised Russell Wilson for his chivalry after an excited fan referred to the Denver Bronco as “Ciara’s husband” in a since deleted video. Wilson was in London with his wife for a meet-and-greet prior to playing in the NFL’s international series this October.
The fan seemingly got tongue-tied while thinking of Wilson’s name in the video and introduced him as the husband of singer Ciara, and the quarterback took it in stride. He proudly proclaimed that he was Ciara’s husband.
“This is Ciara’s husband, that she manifested,” said the fan. Wilson seemed unfazed and confirmed that he was the singer’s husband.
“You know what?” he replied. “I’m Ciara’s husband.”
Fans loved his response and responded in the comment section. “It’s Russell being Proud for me,” one fan replied. “Awwww. I love that for her. He’s Ciara’s Husband.”
Some fans had jokes after seeing the woman refer to Wilson as Ciara’s husband that she “manifested.”
“Not Super Bowl Champion Russell Wilson but Ciara’s manifested husband,” joked one fan in the comments. “She was so confused,” laughed another. “Ciara’s husband that she manifested,” wrote another fan followed by laughing-crying emojis.
Wilson seemed unbothered as he told the fans they were all good and asked if they would be rooting for the Denver Broncos for the upcoming games in London, to which they cheered.
The quarterback also shared pictures of his visit to London with Ciara on social media, including several of the couple enjoying a tennis match at Wimbledon. He captioned the post by saying he was in the Royal Box with the Queen herself.

The Denver Broncos and the Jacksonville Jaguars are scheduled to play in London at the Wembley Stadium on Oct. 30.
