Tia Mowry appeared to have found the secret to maintaining a successful relationship with husband Cory Hardrict despite busy schedules: regular day dates.
The couple, who began dating in 2000, after meeting at a bus stop in Los Angeles, ultimately got married in 2008. They since have welcomed two children, a son Cree Hardrict, 10, and a 4-year-old daughter named Cairo Hardrict.
In an Instagram post shared on May 11, Mowry revealed that she and Hardrict temporarily stepped away from their multiple jobs and responsibilities of being a parent by visiting a wellness spa called Remedy Place.
Throughout the video, the “Family Reunion” star gave fans a glimpse of the various activities the couple experienced during their visit. The list included relaxing in an oxygen chamber, and getting an ice bath, finishing u[ with a sauna. Mowry also shared clips of the pair drinking what appeared to be tea and having lunch.
Alongside the recording, Mowry described her and Hardrict’s time at the spa while also discussing the importance of inclusion in the wellness industry.
The 43-year-old wrote, “So @coryhardrict and I had a little day date, and it got me thinking about how the wellness industry wasn’t so inclusive in the past. We had such a good time unwinding after a long week of juggling multiple jobs and being parents, of course! But, I couldn’t help but wonder if this would’ve been a reality as early as a few years ago.”
She added, “I know I’ve made it my mission to be more vocal about every part of wellness, from mental to physical, and it’s up to us to help make these spaces more inclusive and start these conversations.”
Mowry wrapped the caption by informing her followers that she and Hardrict had such a good time that they planned to return to Remedy Place and explore “more wellness options.”
As fans viewed the upload, many praised the couple for taking time out for each other.
